Are you positive? That is possible, of course, but unusual and all my tests confirm that it is the *last* value set that takes, not the first.

Well, it looks like it's not exactly black-and-white. Some settings take the first value, other settings take the last value. That's no fun.

Wow! That's screwed up. Unless there is a good reason for that, proftpd may not be as well written as I thought.

Well, I'm sure supporting virtual hosts and such adds some complexity to config parsing. I suppose we could include overrides at both the beginning and end of the main config file to work around this. But that won't make it for 6.5.0.
