Is VMware's delayedack=disabled recommended for a 4200 iSCSI
Is VMware's delayedack=disabled recommended for a 4200 iSCSI? I have setup two 4200 iSCSI running 4.2.2 and two ESXi 5.0 hosts all with 10Gig nic's. I not seeing the performance that I would expec...

kossboss: I will investiage NFS vs iSCSI performance.
Jumbo frames is enabled and tested with a MTU of 9000 from the VMHost to Readynas.
I don't plan on teaming my 10gig nic's I don't think a 12 disk xraid2 could saturate a 10gig nic. am I correct?
I am seeing huge response time issue and all the VM articles point to delayedack=disabled as the fix. But to check with the storage vendor before implementing. http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1002598
chripa: thanks for the link. I wrote the article. <g> I just upgraded from that 1gig x 4 setup to 10gig. But again I am not happy with the performace and need to do some tweaking.
