Still struggling a bit here. When I try to copy that file, I get an error (no such file or directory).
There is a services file in the /etc directory, but this is a long list of port allocations (including 3689 for daap). Is this the file I should be trying to edit (I tend to think not) ?
I can change to the etc directory to list its contents, but I can not change to /etc/default
