Hello,
I have a 4-bay NV+ V2 and I'm having quite a time trying to get it to play movies downloaded from iTunes.
Actually, Handbrake, Make MKV, and any other "archiving" utility is a hit-or-miss as to whether the video will play.
I have a hardwired Sony NSZ-GS8 media player.
I've set my iTunes library to be on my NAS, and any downloads (music or movies) are placed properly.
(I use a Sonos system for music, and this system runs flawlessly....)
Back to the movies:
I enabled/disabled iTunes library sharing and that didn't work, so....
I've installed mdgm's "Enable iTunes Server V1.0"; my log says it was installed correctly, and gives the address for access, but I cannot access http://my.nas.IP:3689.
Also, this addon does not show up in the installed add-ons tab in frontview (raidiator 5.3.8)
I've spent countless hours web searching and lurking around user forums, and have tried everything I can think of.
The information I've found is confusing, and often contradictory from different sources.
I've spent a lot of money on this system, and could really use some help.
Much big thanks
