i added the folder to my library and can now upload music to my ipod,
however, if i can just add the folder to my itunes library, then i can play this music through my pc and transfer it to my ipod.
what is the benefit of streaming it?
also - i checked the service file and DAAP now =1 so your addon worked mdgm - so when the nas sends an email saying the addon has failed it must be a glitch, probably because there is no addon to install per se
