Java Install?
Troubleshooting Java 7 install on WinXP Pro SP3 machine and noticed a "JRE" folder within "C:\Program Files\NETGEAR ReadyNAS". Java.exe indicates version 7.0.0.147.
Is this a "dedicated" install for NetGear support only?

Is this install of Java strictly for RAIDar?
Asking because attempt to "globally" install Java results in the following (and I'll paraphrase); "Software already installed, Re-install, Y/N?" -> "Y" -> "This action only valid for currently installed products" And the install aborts. Strange!
Java web "Test" reports Java NOT installed. - AFAIK it is only for RAIDar. If RAIDar runs you should be ok. I wouldn't attempt to "globally" install it, since it is not the newest version.
