JBOD setup, cant access second volume

I think I understand now, to use the second volumes date I have to create folders on it via the dashboard. I had assumed it would work like a single drive.
This is what I see on the dashboard. I guess I misunderstood when I was setting up the drive (this was a while back, around new year).
