Yes, it looks like the path between the NAS and the PC is limited to normal ethernet (1500 byte MTU).
For best performance on your existing network turn Jumbo Frames off everywhere. Or upgrade your routers and switches to support JF.
Of course all the newer ReadyNAS are faster than your NV, so if you are simply trying to get faster NAS speeds then you should consider upgrading the NAS.
