Mac access after 6.5 upgrade is awful

Yesterday my ReadyNAS 516 (with four 4TB drives) was upgraded to 6.5. Since the upgrade simply listing the items in a subdirectory takes ten or fifteen seconds. Playing a short media file (audio or video) takes even longer to start and pauses or skips every few seconds.

Running the previous OS (6.4.2) didn't have these problems.

Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Thank you.

BTW, my network (wired ethernet) has only three computers, all Macs. One is running 10.10 (Yosemite). The other two are running 10.11 (El Capitan).

    Hi everytime,

It happens in both AFP and SMB? Also, do you have AV plus add-on installed?

    Looking forward to your response.

Also can you send in your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?

      Guide

I only use AFP, but I turned on SMB. Sadly with the same results.

I've never heard of AV plus. What is it? If you'll tell me a little about it I'd be glad to try it.

      Thank you.

        Hi everytime,

Thanks for the additional information that you've provided. It is an anti-virus app from NETGEAR that can be installed on your ReadyNAS system. It would be better if you can send us the logs so we can have a further look.

        Kind regards,
