mac can't access shares on RN10400 and password lost/forgotten.

Thank you. I've done it all, worked well. Then had to update firmware. Now restarting. More than 30 minutes passed and still restarting. Any suggestions?

Which firmware did you update from/to? If you just updated to 6.4 for the first time it may take some time to calculate the quotas particularly if you have a lot of snapshots.

    The latest one. I can not remember the version. Can it take more than two hours? Still restarting.

      What do you see on the display on the front of the NAS?

      What about in RAIDar?

        "Restarting now. See you soon." For about hours now. But I'm afraid to force restart it because I might lose data. RAIDar at the moment can't find the device.
