Can't access my RN10400 - Password Token Timeout
I have been unable to access my ready NAS10400. I can detect it, but admin password is lost/forgotten. I tryed to reset my password on the ready Nas website as another way to access it, but I receive a "token timeout" error when resetting my password. Anybody ran into this? Any fixes? Has my drive fallen victim to the badlock vulnerability from last year? I had the BIOS updates set to automatic, so I should be updated.
You can do an OS reinstall from the front panel boot menu - see pages 23-24 here; http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS-100/RN%20OS%206%20Desktop%20HW%20UM_15Oct2013.pdf
The OS reinstall will reset your ethernet connection to use DHCP (which is the default). It will also change your admin password to password.
It is non-destructive - just be careful not to do a factory default by mistake.
