Malware?

RAIDar tells me a new version is available (6.2) but Norton flags both the download file and the downloaded file itself apparently have malware attached. The download file is listed as IXNdXfxu.exe.part and the downloaded file contains Heur.AdvML.C

Norton removed the downloaded file (raidar.exe) and refused to run the download file.

Symantec Endpoint Protection deletes it also, finding WS.Reputation.1

I am thinking it is a false positive.

It has just happened to me as well.  Has anyone gotten a response from either Netgear or Norton?

I have reported this to engineering. It does sound like a false positive as StephenB mentioned.
