mapped network drive disconnecting
Hi, I'm using a new readynas ultra 4 with 4x1tb HDD, i have some problem with mapped drive on windows. I create a public share and works correctly, under windows XP I map the share and works ok, b...
I cannot change my program because the file to move are created with no fixed timing.
but i tried to manually copy a file (with a batch xcopy command) to the mapped drive every minute for 15 minutes and works ok the drive remains connected
another test copying a file every 2 minutes at the 6th attempt the copy fail, the drive is disconnected
another test copying a file every 3 minutes and 11 attempts pass successfully
another test copying a file every 5 minutes and 5 attempts pass successfully
so i cannot understand where is the problem
there is some configuration in readynas to set some kind of timeout or not?
as described in the previous post before buying the readynas i used a normal windows pc as "nas"
and the mapped drive never disconnect
