mb_cache_shrink_scan+50

Hi,

sinds some day's after last OS update to 6.7.4 it seems I can't connect to my NAS.

When I try to connect no success...! Restart is the only way to enter the NAS!

Disply on the NAS shows: mb_cache_shrink_scan+50

but I don't know why?

Solution till now is turn off the NAS (keep press the power button) and wait.

After Power the NAS back I wait and seems somthing happens, but I don't know why and how. And this is now the second (2x) time that this happens.

The ReadyNAS is currently syncing. During this process, the system is still accessible; however, performance and Admin Page responsiveness might be impacted.

Resyncing in progress..!

I want to know why this happens (before never ever had this problem) and how to solve it if it is possible?

Anyone Idea please share it 4all..!

PS:

In the logbook is nothing notice!

  • Hi,

It seems I can't made a new backup anymore, because I get this message after I started the backup.

NAS isn't reachable anymore this I didn't got the problem before the last OS upgrade!

External HDD reformatted as well and still the same problem.

Switch the NAS off and turn on and I can continue...

What happens and how to solve it?

Thanks for reply but I lost my Volume yesterday.....!

In the log is nothing recorded!

OS: 6.7.4 -> sinds this upgrade I got only more problems than before, bevore the problem never exist!

NAS writes: Remove inactive volumes to use disk. Disk #1,2,3,4.

        In the menu Volumes:

        I have now data

        data 0

        Freespace: 0

        Type: Raid5

        data 0

        Free Space: 0

        Type: RAID unknown

        This is really strange!
