Memory Test: detailed explanation available?

PSS would be PASS i.e. the number of times the test is run in a loop
The memory test will run more and more passes till stopped.
The sequence you're seeing I think means the test is running fine. If you get a different sequence then there is a problem.
To know if the memory is good you need it to pass the memory test then you need to use the NAS and find things work fine and that data isn't corrupted. Problems likely due to bad memory can be flagged in diagnostics.log from the logs zip file (Status > Logs > Download all logs).
Do note that NetGear doesn't support 3rd party memory upgrades and they will be unable to help recover your data if your use of 3rd party memory leads to data corruption.
