Method to Recover Deleted Files on ReadyNAS Pro
How would I undelete a file that I just deleted on my ReadyNAS Pro?

Sad to say that the data that you accidentally deleted are no longer recoverable since the features I mentioned weren't enabled when it happened. You may want to try with any 3rd party data recovery company to check if the said files can still be recovered.

If you have enabled Recycle bin on the share or snapshot, there's a chance you can recover the said file.

NETGEAR CommunitySorry for the delay BrianL but I was out of town and didn't have access to my messages.
What would be the first thing that i need to do? I shut down the machine imedialy after I carelessly deleted the file hoping the file wouldn't be written over by another action. Do I need a special software?

Can you confirm if Recycle Bin and Snapshot are both enabled before the files was accidentally deleted? Could you also tell us the Firmware installed in your ReadyNAS system.

Firmware 4.2.27
I don't think Recycling Bin was enabled for that Share.
Snapshot was off.
