Yes, the firmware is on the disks as well as on the internal flash. So while your disks have 4.1.8 on them 4.1.10 is in the internal flash of the unit.
An OS Re-install via the boot menu or installing 4.1.10 again will make sure the firmware on the flash is the same as the firmware on the disks.
