Most divx 5 videos not recognized

Ok:
- The file streams perfectly when done from VLC or Windows Media Player to the Panasonic TV
- The file doesn't stream from the Netgear to the TV: "file format not supported"
- From an USB key plugged into the TV and played directly, it doesn't play either in fact: "file format not supported"
Does it mean the TV is the issue?
Why the Netgear doesn't stream it through DLNA while VLC and Media Player can ? As I understand, if the Netgear supports the video format, it should transcode and correctly stream it to the DLNA client!
