Moving complete volume from RN316 to RN316

You can migrate, but you will need to destroy the data volume and recreate it. It probably doesn't matter which system you do that on.
If you don't have a lot of user accounts, you might as well start clean with a factory default. Any apps likely are no longer functional anyway since the data volume isn't there.

I am thinking that with the RN316(A) running you can't see any data - correct?
If you were running JBOD (or RAID-0) with one volume and six disks, then your entire volume is destroyed when any disk fails. That is downside of those modes. I always recommend one volume per disk to avoid that issue (esp
with 6-8 TB drives). You likely need some form of data recovery to get the data back.

Thank you for the reply.
I have backup the dead disk on the Ultra 6 before it collasped. I am just curious is it possible to migrate from A to B given that they have the same firmware without having to export them?
