Thanks for your speedy reply mdgm. In that case I'll look into plex, as I'm trying hard to get the data in a format that wont need transcoding.
Thus my query for 1) I thought I had the format I liked. Quality and sound was good. Just can't navigate which is kind of weird. AVI's work fine, its just MP4's and M4v's that are giving me grief at the moment.
