Multiple users sharing files
Greetings ReadyNAS experts! I have a RN516 with OS6.2.2 and I'd like to set it up to allow multiple users to access/edit/delete the same files. I've searched around the forum and the web in general...

you are right I also think it should have worked. However, it seems that access is restricted to the creator of the file which is the folder owner. Settings for "everyone" and "folder group" seem to be ignored when "File Access" is restricted. It could be a SMB/Windows problem but I am not sure. When guest is set as the folder owner newly created files can be accessed by everyone as guest requires no password. To be clear, everyone who has access, which again is restricted by the Network Access.
