My ReadyNas DuoV2 won't boot with disc
Hi I been trying to start up my 9 year old ReadyNas Duo (V2 I think), but it won't boot. It only has one disc. I haven't used it for 5-6 years but it's been stored dry. I have been running some test...

Does RAIDar find the NAS with no drive installed?
If yes, then a Factory Default is the typical next step. If no, then USB recovery is (RAIDiator-4-1-USB-Recovery-Tool ).

Sadly no. It's more 15-16 slow ones from the blue power on/off LED

Wow, the edit time expired quickly on that one. Just wanted to add that a Factory Default wipes the drives, but I assumed after all that time that that was not a problem.

If you can connect the disk to a Windows PC (either with SATA or a USB adapter/dock), then you could install R-linux for Windows (free) and see if it finds anything. https://www.r-studio.com/free-linux-recovery/
