My ReadyNAS has gone haywire

Hi all

All of a sudden my ReadyNAS drive is giving all sorts of trouble from unaccessible web config page, to timeouts and now even virus warnings. I did the OS reinstall twice to no avail. I think it might be affected by a virus...I couldnt access this path...any help is appreciated

  • Switch off Anti Virus as it is not fit for purpose for some currently.

A resolution to it's problems is alledgedly imminent from Netgear

Do you mean the internal antivirus system is broken? the cause of all problems?

Yes sorry Anti Virus service in the NAS, I can't say if it will fix all your problems but it will help.

        Reboot the NAS too
