NAS RNDU2120, how LED status on boot.
Hi there, anybody who knows where to get information about LED pattern on the front panel after boot and various test. How do I read the pattern?

LED blink behavior for 2 disk systems is three quick blinks of all disk LEDs and the backup LED, followed by an 1s delay, followed by a number of slow blinks. The number of slow blinks will be the error code.
Current error codes:
1 - Vendor mismatch
2 - No disks detected
3 - Bad contents on root partition of disks
4 - Flash error
5 - Unsupported RAID configuration- TommrockSep 01, 2023Aspirant
Thanks Stephen,
Couldn't find that appropiate info in my docs.
Could you maybe give me a hint how to fix another NAS problem for Win11: "ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH" I had the NAS working nicely on my old Win7 for many years but after migration to 11 it seem to fail.
Further, I could reset the NAS to factory status and logging on using the Url ip. I managed to change the PW and that worked OK. But, the RAIDar scanner can not detect any NAS in my network.
Are these problems connected to eachother.
Many thanks for any suggestions.
Best regards

It's not about Windows, it's about the browsers. You are running 4.2.x firmware in the NAS, which doesn't support TLS 1.2. Current browsers require that version of TLS.
For now, you can gain access with Edge in IE mode, or by using Firefox and manually setting security.tls.version.min to 1. Do that by first browsing to about:config and then search for the setting.
Longer term, there are two options.
- convert your NAS to OS 6 firmware
- install an add-on which adds TLS 1.2 support.
The add-on is here:
If you want advice on converting to OS-6, let us know.

Hi again Stephen,
Thanks for your support but I am getting stuck - again.
This is what the glitch. Quick revenue of my attempts.
1. Using a wired Ethernet connection.
2. Still getting the error message of a non supported network protocol
3. Raidar 6.5 does not connect.
4. Raidar 4.3.8 does connect, see attached pics
5. The HDD came up and i could initilaze it.
6. Here i'm struck.
7. I can not enter the SETUP page, see attached pic
8. Just telling me that there are no shares.
Hopefully this can give you further picture of my problem, how to proceed.
Do you think it still is a network problem or a drive problem?
I intended to do an USB NAS OS update but i couldnt find the proper HW image file. I had to cancel that idea.
Is there still any hope for this "out of date" drive, should it belong to the recycling bin?
Many thanks,
Tommrock

The last screenshot isn't getting you into frontview, that page is giving you access to shares that have http/https enabled. Since you don't have any, the list is empty.
Try https://192.168.1.175/admin again. If you saved the admin password in the browser, be careful to use the default netgear1.

Try browsing to https://192.168.1.127/admin using Edge in IE mode.
If that fails with the same error, then download firefox, and then browse to about:config in firefox. Search for security.tls.version.min and then set it to 1. Then browse to https://192.168.1.127/admin in FireFox.
After setup, you can install an add-on that would give you the TLS support you need to eliminate the SSL version mismatch. Another (IMO better) option is to convert the Ultra to run OS-6. That would start with upgrading the memory to at least 2 GB (which is inexpensive and not difficult to do).
