I opted to put each backup on its own share, one share on the backup server for every share on the main NAS, but because of the way I did that backup, it put the backup inside a folder named the same as the main NAS share.
You prevent that by putting a / in the path field after you create the backup job.

Note this is only an issue with "push" backups (remote destination). Personally I use "pull" (remote source), because my backup NAS are on power schedules.
