Net Gear ReadyNAS RN10400 ERR:could not mount boot flash
Hi all ,
Could you help us pls ?
I have a Netgear RN10400 device . But when I open the device, I get the error "ERR:could not mount boot flash" on my lcd . I ran from the Netgear forums. I created a rescue disk but a flash memory is read at system startup, although it self-shuts down after 10 seconds . I would ask your help on the subject. Thanks , have a nice day. King Regards

Hi ilker26266,
Try with another USB flash drive using the steps here. If this won't work, insert a spare disk in your system set it up (update to the latest Firmware *optional*) and once setup, turn off the unit and re-insert your original disks. Take note that if you will do this procedure, the original disks should be inserted in the same order or in its original bay.

Did you make any changes to the system (e.g. updating the firmware - if so which firmware did you update from and to) shortly before running into this problem?
