Netgear Duo v2 stopped sending alert messages
My Duo is configured to send email alerts via mail when a backup is complete or the system has a problem.
The emails have suddenly stopped and when I try and send a test message I get a message that the smtp server cannot be contacted. Looking at the settings the email address is correct and the SMTP server is smtp.gmail.com, smtp port is 587 which I presume is correct because I all supplied in the original setup was username (email address) and password).
I don't think my router is blocking it (its an ASUS RT-68U) as its set to allow all outbound traffic.
The advanced settings in the duo are all greyed out.
Can anyone suggest please how I get alerts back online please?

- tomg35AspirantHi,
Thanks for the suggestion, but it made no difference. first I put in garbage, saved it and then once the save was confirmed re-input the gmail account details. Message failed couldn't contact the smtp port. I then tried another email account, ensuring I used the same port number as in Outlook. Again the same error message. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredTry an OS Re-install to see if that helps.
