Netgear ReadyNAS - Choose the right harddisk for your NAS - video
Hi guys, I shot a video (actually a live vlog) of my Netgear ReadyNAS choosing the right harddisk for your NAS server. I did a deep temperature analysis of various kinds of drives such as mobile/laptop drives vs desktop drives vs a NAS drive. After 5 hours of continous read (download) operation here are my results. I dont use my NAS server 24/7, so it is kind of ok to mix drives, since I know its potential risks. But if you choose to leave your NAS server on all the time, then
