NETGEAR RN10200 - No idea
New to NAS,
Have a ReadyNAS 102, which i had set up 3 years ago, and just left running in my cabinet.
I would like to reuse it, however i cannot talk to it outside of RAIDar, and even then it states the usual "Your NETGEAR storage is not accessible form this cmputer. Check your network settings."
Ive probed through the website, added the credentials for the listed IP to both General and Windows, diabled my Firewall, opened all my sharing options wide. and nothing.
Haver tired to access the direct IP address of the unit, and the stanadard 192.168.168.168, nothing.
I have debated the factory reset options, but as i said im new, to me selecting options from menus required Monitors and periperal devices, so i fail to see how i can do this when it wont talk to my PC, or through the cloud online.
It is Firmware 6.5.1, drives are working, just ignore every PC and unit, Admin login doesnt work. nor do anyother login i can think of, please xplain how i am being thick and how to rectify this probelm, and allow my network to pick up the NAS box once again across windows 10 and windows 7.

Unit is connected difect to my Laptop at the moment, ideally it would be connected to wider network, via NETGear hub, or into a Booster unit, or direct into the main Router.
Connectd to my Laptop at the moment as i just want it working first before i add it into the network system.
Remeber your talking to a NAS gear noob, spell it out, cryon and big letters style.

It's easier if you connect the NAS directly to your router. So I suggest starting there instead of connecting it directly to your laptop.
- PyronoughtAspirantClarification router or computer? Statement says router instead of router.
Is there a way to hard reset the unit to start again with it?
