Network Access doesn't mean what I think it means

ReadyNAS 2120 v2 I unchecked READ/WRITE from everyone. Nobody has READ/WRITE access to Network Access. Should someone still be able to view the share folders? I am still able to view the NAS network...

    Hello Tripline,

If you already have opened the shares via SMB and you were accessing the files and folders then you change the permission settings, make sure you close the Windows folder and do the "net use * /delete" command in the DOS prompt to make the computer log out the previous access to it or delete the temporary credentials to the network share as the computer remembers your connection to it via SMB. Then re-open the shares by mapping the NAS IP.
