Did you ever set a static IP address on either the NAS or the computer? Generally that is the cause of duplicate address.
If you did this in the NAS, then if you go in via the Web UI you can change the IP configuration to get the address automatically. IF you can't get into the Web UI, the fallback is to do an OS Reinstall (NOT a factory reset). That will change the IP address configuration to automatic (DHCP), and reset the admin password back to the original factory value. Data and add-ons would not be affected.
Most routers can reserve IP addresses (giving you the benefits of a static address, and the convenience of automatic assignment from one device). What router do you have?
