Network->interfaces->ethernet is the relevant configuration, and it is already correct.
I think the next step is to check to see if the carbonite folks are correct.
If you log into the router, you should be able to see all the devices that are connected.
If you can't figure it out in the router pages, try Advanced IP Scanner (http://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/). That should show you all the devices you have turned on, and give you their IP addresses.
