New 314, can't set up Genie account, can't activate Plex
My brand new 314 runs OS 6.0.6 Can't create Genie account -- it demands security check over and over again. So add-ons are not possible. Plex is claimed not to be an add-on -- it's "already ins...
It seems from other threads on this forum that it is common knowledge that the Plex included in OS 6 firmware doesn't work (or otherwise is unreliable), that this may have something to do with its being an old version, and it can't be updated.
Would Netgear care to comment ?
Why on earth would you bundle Plex in your firmware without arranging with Plex to include updates ?
Why is no explanation forthcoming except from the renegade Chirpa ?
