Newbie Wireless Setup to ReadyNas Ultra - Help Please
Complete newbie to NAS and networking here - also don't know too much about the Macs that I have either!! I have browsed and searched the forum but can't find the answer - apologies if answered befor...

Check for an option in the router configuration interface that enables multicast over wireless - this is commonly disabled by default on Thomson routers. Can't give you the specific option as a) not all Thomson routers have one and b) I'm guessing the router was provided by your ISP (most Thomson routers are) and so the UI is probably heavily customized to that ISP
If you cannot find such an option I'm afraid you will need to consider investing in a new router.
Just wanted to to say thanks again - purchased an Airport Extreme and all working fine.... Just about to search previous questions to try and find out how I sync itunes and iPhoto files. No doubt I'll be posting again soon!!
