NFS issues on RN312 on units on 6.1.9
Hello, I am a new forum user and this is my first post.
We have several RN312 appliances running firmware version 6.1.9 that are having problems with NFS.
On the Linux system that mount the RN312's NFS share, we are seeing the share become unresponsive at times. The following message is being logged in /var/log/messages on the Linux server.
Oct 22 14:52:22 linux_server kernel: nfs: server RN312 not responding, still trying
Our only recourse is to ssh into the RN312 and reboot it. When it comes back up, we are able to continue ... until the next time that the NFS mount becomes unresponsive.
This is happening to many RN312 devices and the only common factor is the version of the firmware installed on the appliance (which is 6.1.9).
We currently have 148 other RN312 appliances running the same backup application with firmware version 6.1.8 that are running without issue.
Could there be an issue with 6.1.9 and NFS?
Please advise.

- siignaNETGEAR Employee RetiredAre you running any other share protocols or just NFS?
Any extra add-ons installed?
What is the share's NFS 'async' option set to?
How many NFS threads are you running?
What are the client side NFS mount options? - amihalekAspirantWe have rolled back the firmware to version 6.1.8 on all of the appliances that had been running 6.1.9.
We have seen no issues since we rolled back the firmware on the appliances.
Seems pretty clear to me that something changed in 6.1.9.
