"No logs exist." and cannot start services #24622305

Hi - I'm in a bit of pickle.

My ReadyNas Pro Business has suddenly begun exhibiting problems after flawless function for several years.

RNPB 6x2TB in X-Raid 2 mode
RAIDiator 4.2.27

Three symptoms:
  • Standard file protocols cannot be activated. When the radio button and 'Apply' are selected, the radio button clears itself and the shares cannot be accessed. Previously, CIFS and AFP were active.

  • Status > Logs displays "No logs exist."

  • Temp AUX -8 C / 17 F

Having looked through the forum, I found this post referencing the "No logs exist." message.

Gist is that the OS volume is full and needs support to fix it. Unfortunately, I'm outside the 3-year warranty and do not have SSH active.

Can anything be done?

Thanks,

Christopher

Yes those systems would suggest a full OS partition.

    Do you have a backup?
  • I have the critical data backed up, yes. Obviously would prefer to avoid having to do a full restore if at all possible. CrashPlan's great, but not lightning fast. ;)
