OK. I tried RAID5, and I am STILL at "CORRUPT ROOT" I've sent two sets of logs off to Netgear (one from during the rebuild, and one from after the rebuild, but during the sync) It seemed to work this time, so I created a couple of shares, and begun to start copying data to the NAS. However after just a couple of minutes the shares became inaccessible vis SMB/CIFS, though I could still access the device through the web interface. Well, at least I thought I could. No matter what I clicked or changed, didn't affect anything, and I couldn't reboot via the GUI.
It finally stopped responding, so I rebooted the device using the power button.
It came back up as "corrupt root" again.
Ug...
I can no longer pull logs from the device.
