permissions nightmare
Ive been struggling to gain access to files that when clicked apon using the Apple finder they open in iturnes. When trying to access SHARE thru BluOS app. they are not indexable or playable?
Indeed file folder structure was critical:
drivename/music/artist/tracks ......
drivename/music/ another folder / tracks ....
another folder removed ...indexing of 20,000 music files suceeded :-)

Do you have read/write access to the folder when you just open it up via finder (not using BluOS)?
yes;
I can use finder to navigate to any music file and cause Itunes to load and play
heres the nas privlidges
