NV+ Large Files Transfer Error
Hello All,
I have a unit of Netgear ReadyNas NV+ v3 and I am having error of "The specified network name is no longer available." whenever I transfer large files (eg 60GB) to the NAS.
I have tried the below:
1. Format and scan with WDDignos Tools
2. Perform volume scan on next boot
3. Check and fix quotas on next boot
4. MTU Setting 1492 (from Ready NAS forum)
5. Data transfer via office network to NAS
6. Data transfer direct from PC via a switch to NAS
7. Direct Cross Cable from PC to NAS
Model: ReadyNAS NV+ v3 (X-RAID)
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.1.10 (1.00a043)
Memory: 1024 MB (2.5-3-3-7)
HDD: WDC WD15EADS 1.5TB x 04
Hope anybody can help me on this.
Thank you very much in advance.

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserHave you tried putting the stock memory back?
- Support_QuiverTAspirantThanks StephenB,
Tried on the 256MB memory, it is stable when the files transfer via the cross cable (PC to NAS) but via the office network, 2 out of 4 times transfer on the same files, the same error message incurred. Kindly assist? - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI'd leave the stock memory in for the moment, since it does seem to help. I'd also check the SMART stats on the disks, just to be sure they are ok.
Try going into interfaces->network and clear the error counts. Then do the transfers over the office net again, and look at the "show errors" stats after the connection drop.
