nv+, st2000ld00, strange beeping, wont go past booting
Hi guys, this is my first NAS and is brand new along with a brand new seagate st2000ld003. After inserting the drive the installation got to 47.8% where it then stopped and strange beeping sounds star...
yeah, my PC wouldn't recognise it in sea tools or on the PC. even though the bios said hard disk next to 3rd boot master, wouldnt get anything from the drive.
i'm just glad it is the drive that's dead and not sounding like an issue with the nv+. I've just posted to the supplier see if they will swap for different brand of drive.
