NV+ V1: fsck running for over 7 days
Hello,
I have exactly the same problem as you.
Have you found a solution at the time?
Thank you for your feedback
MOD NOTE- Split off from original thread which was for NVX (viewtopic.php?f=66&t=63222)

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserDid you upgrade your firmware to 4.2.23 before you did the expansion?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredAnd is this also on a NVX?
- etis84AspirantThank you for the quick answers!
I misread, mine is not a NVX but NV +.
So my latest version is 4.1.10.
2 TB disks are in the NAS for several months, but I wanted to do a volume check, and each time, fsck stick, still not finished after 5 days ...
I have a lot of files, including many hard links.
Do you think it relates to this problem: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=411838
If yes, how to update fsck.ext3 file ? - etis84AspirantThank you for the link
e2fsprogs in 4.1.10 firmware is 1.40.11.
I downloaded the source of 1.42.7 and compiled on Readynas.
Result: fs check finished in 5 hours!
I suppose there is a bug in the 1.40.11 version with large volumes or many files or many hardlinks.
