NV+ V2, JBOD-disks usable in Windows PC?
Hi, I have just purchased the 4-bay NV+ V2, without disks. Before I put any disks in it, I want to be sure of this:
* If I install the disks as JBOD, will these disks be usable, that is, without reformatting them, if I later move them into a Windows PC?
* I now have one new 3TB disk and one 2TB full of data from a Windows PC (formatted in Windows 7, probably NTFS). If I use JBOD on the NV+, is there any way to use the disk with data on it without reformatting it?
Regards, LandShark

No. Whilst you could recover the data off them, the disks would be formatted with EXT4. There would also be the OS partition (4GB) on each disk.LandShark wrote:

No. The NAS needs to format disks you add to it.
