Have you tried an older firmware like 4.2.20 or 4.2.19? I'm wondering if this bad behavior is the result of a more recent version of the firmware. I'd try downgrading my unit but I'm still in the giant maze of support back and forth, trying to convince someone at Netgear that there's a serious problem/flaw in the firmware.
