Odd behaviour
I have a Ready NAS NV V2. Originally i had 2 500gb HDD. I then bought 3 * 2TB hard drives; added two in waited for the NAS to do it's stuff then took out a 500gb and added the 2tb drive. Didn't really work properly, and as the 500gb were only there for testing purposes i took them out.
Did a factory reset - then added one 2TB drive; then added another - so far so good 1.8tb protected. Then i added the 3rd - after it spent all night re-syncing, i still only had 1.8tb reported space.
Again as the drives were empty i did another factory reset - now i am pleased to say i have 3.6tb....
BUT - in a couple of months time i plan to add another 2tb HDD - by this time there will be lots of data on the drives so a factory reset will not be an option...
Any ideas?
