Odd file keeps popping up in root directory. Any ideas?
OK, I have a ReadyNAS Duo V1 and have installed SSH access to the Duo. I have various transfers from my hosted space online, that are all coming to my /media share.
So, I was poking around and in the root directory, I see a file called... ... uhhh
"fuck"
Yeah. This is a new one for me, and so I thought I'd delete the file. I did, and now I see that it's back. So I guess I'm fu@ked?! ;)
Seriously though, I can't find the same file on my hosted space, so I am looking for any feedback as to what this is, and if I should worry too much about this or not?
Thanks for any help, and happy holidays!
EDIT: Silly puns aside, this is a serious question.

- StephenBGuru - Experienced User/root is empty on my duo v1. (a couple of hidden files/folders, but nothing like "****".)
I'd worry about it. What firmware are you running? - JStrausAspirantI'm running 4.1.14.
Also, I see I am mistaken. That file is in the / directory, not the root directory. (So it's listed IN the same dir that root, shares, etc are.) - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI see nothing like that there either.
