OS 6 problems need subforum
Had a quick look - does not seem to be a forum to discuss OS6. I've just got a 316, and I now see why there are so many complaints - the GUI is appalling. In 2 hours I've encountered the following...
Another email alert issue.
OS6 emails about volume capacity utilisation at 70% and 80% ( and presumably 90% although I'm not there yet) every time the unit powers on. This has never happened with Frontview firmware - there was a single notification and that was it.
It is impossible to untick the volume tick box under Alerts, as is the case with disk failure and power. I can disable disk full alerts though.
OS6 also emails about every power on and every power off and it's impossible to stop this.
I'm now receiving 9 unnecessary emails from the unit every day.
