You were right that your Duo v1 should be within the 192.168.1.xx range. It seems to me that your Duo has a static IP address set on it. I suggest you to perform OS reinstall. OS reinstall will set the password back to its default which is "netgear1" without the quotation marks. Also, the NAS will be set back as being a DHCP client and this will not delete any data saved in the NAS.
