OSX Lion, delays when opening certain docs on NAS
I haven't seen anybody else discussing this, but it's so noticeable to me I find it hard to believe nobody else has noticed it. The setup: Mac Pro running OSX 10.6.8 MacBook Pro running OSX 10.7....
I am having similar issues. I first noticed it using iTunes, see my post here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=57973
However, I also notice it just browsing a directory fo photos. The previews take for ever to show up as does opening large group of files for a slideshow with preview. IIRC all of this stuff was way faster with my prior MBP using 10.6.8 (not using 10.7.2 with a MBA).
Wow, I sure would like to get this sorted out. It makes using my NAS pretty painful...
