Passive Port Change Issue
Hi, When I try and change the passive ports on the Readynas 104 it does not allow me. It shows Red next to them. I nee to change this to include port 22021 in the range as this is what my machin...

The passive port numbers are sent over the control connection (10021 in your case), and the clients then try to create a connection back to the NAS using that passive port. If there is a firewall in front of the NAS, then the passive ports you pick need to be forwarded through that firewall. If not, then any passive ports will work. There's no reason why the passive ports need to have higher numbers than the control port.

So I tried then to change the Passive FTP ports to 22021 but I cannot use that port on there?
This is now where I'm at with it.
So are these clients on the same network as the RN104, or are they connected over the internet.
