Permissions/Password Recovery after NV+ upgrade to 4.1.9
Hi There, I have an NV+ v1 running latest 4.1.9 code. i have a single share called mydocs, protected by a password. this has worked fine for years with a PC(win 7) and a mac(10.7.4) accessing it. ...
update:
- performed password recovery (fw reinstall), logged in and changed admin password + network settings.
- still couldn't login to front view after having done this, when front view asked for the new password.
- in desperation, cleared my browser cache (safari).
- i can now login. sigh. sorry guys, my admin login problem was browser cache related.
however the problem regarding mac finder access to share still exists, with error message as before.
i have found a workaround by enabling AFP...not ideal but i can access my files for now
